Mot began painting at the age of five and by seven was enrolled in painting instruction at the L.A. County Museum of Art.  He continued his studies favoring the work of Renaissance masters. His work began selling in 1990 and since that time he has exhibited widely.

Mot has painted numerous murals and frescos around Los Angeles and the Bay Area (many of his mural works can be seen in Marin County).  He’s also created posters for the 40th Anniversary of Summer of Love in Golden Gate Park, Fairfax Festival, Music on the Bay, Landsdale Station, Wavy Gravy Summer of Love Revival and Animal Liberation Orchestra.
